One of the biggest photovoltaic plants in Switzerland

GEFCO’s car park in Courgenay, located near Bâle, is rising up to the rank of one of the most important photovoltaic plants in Switzerland.

Within the forthcoming months, the parking will be therefore covered with solar panels protecting the 3,000 cars parked from weathering while producing 6.7 GWh per year. A great initiative which has started this Thursday, January 18th with the setting up of the first panels. In the next few days, more than 4,000 panels will be installed in the first area of the construction site.

At this important stage of the project progress, we would like to congratulate GEFCO Switzerland and our partners’ teams for their important commitment in the roll-out of this project.
