The GEFCO group appoints Anthony Gunn at the head of GEFCO’s Freight Forwarding activity. He is a member of the Executive Committee.
With over 25 years of experience in the logistics sector, Anthony Gunn has developed and carried out major transforming projects in Europe, the United-States and Asia in that field. Projects ranged from setting up and operating Return centres for leading global ecommerce companies to managing distribution for Life science laboratories within the US, including spare parts and retail fulfillment in Asia.
The mission of Anthony Gunn within GEFCO will be to strengthen Freight Forwarding activity’s profitable growth, while enhancing GEFCO’s position as a global player in industrial logistics.

Anthony Gunn was previously Managing Director Europe at XPO Logistics, formerly known as Menlo. He joined Menlo in 2000, where he held various managing positions. During the 16 years spent in Menlo, then XPO Logistics, Anthony Gunn gathered a team of experts which doubled the region’s turnover and profit.
Anthony Gunn started his carrier in the defense industry, in the purchasing and supply services before moving toward the semiconductor industry, where he was in charge of a leading American manufacturer supply chain management in the United-States and Europe.
Anthony Gunn holds a MBA from the Edinburgh Napier University.
