The Management Board is composed of four members.
The Executive Committee is composed of 10 members and is chaired by Luc Nadal, Chairman of the Management Board.
Luc Nadal has served as Chairman of the GEFCO Management Board since December 2012, following his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in July 2012.
Luc has spent his entire career in the transport sector, joining GEFCO in October 2010 as Freight Transport and Logistics Director. He came to GEFCO from SNCF, where he successively held the positions of Chairman of the Board of its logistics subsidiary CNC (which he turned around and transformed into Naviland Cargo), Deputy Operations Director of SNCF Freight, Deputy Managing Director of the Geodis branch in charge of rail freight, and Director of Fret SNCF.
Luc also worked as a consultant for Arthur Andersen and as a partner in charge of the infrastructure and transport sector at Mensia Conseil.
He graduated from France’s École Polytechnique in 1982.
As Executive Vice President – Overland, Warehousing, Reusable Packaging, Overland & Finished Vehicles Logistics, Emmanuel Cheremetinski is a member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee and its Management Board.
Emmanuel Cheremetinski joined GEFCO Group in July 2015 to provide strategic and functional leadership for the Overland business line. In May 2017, he also assumed responsibility for the Finished Vehicles Logistics and Warehousing & Reusable Packaging activities.
Before joining GEFCO, Emmanuel served on the Executive Committee of Touax Group, a logistics asset management firm, from 2010 to 2015. In this role, he developed the river transport sector in emerging markets in Africa and South America. Prior to that, in 2005, he helped SNCF prepare for market competition in Europe as the Head of Railway Companies in Benelux and Italy, and then as its International Director.
Emmanuel began his career in the finance division at the inspection department of Société Générale and held various positions in the banking industry for 10 years.
He is a graduate of École Centrale Paris and also holds a degree in economics.
As Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Emmanuel Arnaud is a member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee and its Management Board.
Emmanuel Arnaud joined the GEFCO Group in 2004 after nearly a decade of experience in the logistics sector. Starting as Market Line Manager and then Business Line Manager, he took up the role of Sales Director – Global Accounts Department in 2009 and Group Sales Director in 2012. In 2014, he was appointed Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
Prior to joining GEFCO, Emmanuel was the Director of the French subsidiaries of TNT Logistics France and before that he held several managerial positions at Giraud, a specialized logistics group.
Emmanuel is a graduate of the Telecom École de Management.
As Executive Vice President – Finance and Strategy, Gilles Desanges is a member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee and its Management Board.
He joined GEFCO in 2014 as Director of Strategy, leading corporate strategy, M&A, innovation and the Group’s transformation projects. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer in September 2021.
Previously, Gilles managed M&A activities for several consultancy firms in Paris and began his career at a Consultant first for Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC), Gemini Consulting and then Oliver Wyman.
He is a graduate of the ESCP Business School in Paris.
As Executive Vice President – Central Europe, Balkans, Middle East, Western Europe & Mediterranean, Pierre-Jean Lorrain is a member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee.
Since joining GEFCO Group in 1989 as IT Project Manager, Pierre-Jean has acquired extensive international experience, starting in the UK, where he held various positions for the Finished Vehicles Logistics activity before becoming Finished Vehicles Logistics Manager. Between 2006 and 2010, he managed GEFCO’s car distribution business unit in Paris. Pierre-Jean was then appointed Managing Director of GEFCO Italia in 2010. In 2013, he became Director of the Central Europe, Balkans and Middle East zone for GEFCO Group, and in May 2017 he also assumed responsibility for the Western Europe & Mediterranean zone.
Pierre-Jean started his career as an IT Project Manager at Unilog.
He holds a degree from the University of Nancy.
Since October 2020, Vittorio Battaglia is President of GEFCO France and member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee.
Vittorio brings more than 20 years of leadership experience at major transport and logistics companies, most recently as Corporate Transport General Manager for FM Logistic.
Vittorio started his career in 1988 at CAST Management Consultants, before joining TNT in 1995 as Commercial Director and later Commercial and Marketing Director. In 2001, he joined CAT Group, where he led the Cargo Logistics division for France and Europe and became General Manager in 2005. In 2008, he joined DHL France as General Manager, then in 2012, he switched to independent consulting for major industrial groups. In 2015, he moved to FM Logistic as Corporate Transport General Manager.
Vittorio holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
As Executive Vice President – Information Technology, Sophie Baudoux is a member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee.
Sophie joined the Group in March 2020, bringing solid expertise in information technology and innovation. Sophie was most recently the founder of Av@lon, a consultancy dedicated to driving large-scale transformation projects.
Her previous positions included Chief Information Officer for COLAS (Bouygues Group), President of SPEIG (IT branch, COLAS Group).
She also held several management positions within Bouygues Telecom Goup, working on technologies and services. Sophie has an engineering degree in Telecoms from Telecoms ParisTech.
She started her career working for France Telecom R&D (Orange Labs).
Executive Vice-President Client Stellantis & 4PL Solutions and India, Anne Lambusson is a member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee.
Anne Lambusson joined GEFCO Group in July 2016 with a mission to strengthen collaboration between PSA Group and GEFCO.
This latest role builds on more than 28 years of experience in the transport, supply chain and automotive industries. Most recently, she was Regional Managing Director of the SNCF network in Rhône-Alpes and Auvergne, and Vice President International Operations for Keolis, an SNCF subsidiary. Other positions she has held include Executive Vice President for Faiveley Transport, Vice President Programs and Projects for Valeo, Vice President and Managing Director for Alstom Transport, Director of Allied Signal Automotive Europe, and Senior Consultant at SMCI.
Anne has served on the boards of several international and French groups. In 2013, she was appointed a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, France’s highest order of merit.
Anne started her career in 1988 as a consultant for FASA-Renault in Spain.
She holds a PhD in engineering from MINES ParisTech, an MBA from Paris-Sorbonne University and an industrial engineering degree from École Centrale Paris.
As Executive Vice President – Communications, Susan Marro-Fournier is a member of the GEFCO Group Executive Committee.
Susan joined GEFCO Group at the end of 2017, bringing in more than 20 years of expertise in global communications to support the company’s strong international development.
Her previous positions included Director of Communications, Public Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility for KFC, and Head of Communications, EMEA for a division of United Technologies Corporation. She also worked as an independent consultant for GSK and was a partner at the Paris-based communications agency I&E Consultants, after initial experience at Disneyland Paris.
Susan holds an MBA from ESG Management School in Paris and a BA in European studies from the American University of Paris.
Stéphane Milhet joined GEFCO in 2013 as the Group’s Executive Vice President – Human Resources and a member of the Executive Committee.
He has held senior HR positions at major global corporations, most recently HR Director EMEA for Apple from 2011 to 2013, and HR Director and Global Talent Succession Manager for Roche France (from 2009).
He worked for Microsoft from 2003 to 2009, where he successively held the positions of HR Director Europe, Global Talent Acquisition Director, and Senior HR Director. Before that, he served as Global HR Director for Adobe Group (2000-2002) and HR Director EMEA for Mars, Inc. (1997-2000).
Stéphane holds a post-graduate degree in law and human resources from Toulouse 1 University of Social Sciences.
