GEFCO is now CEVA Logistics
On 26 July 2022, GEFCO joined CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, to form the largest logistics group based in France and a global leader in automotive logistics solutions.
This acquisition project is part of CEVA's strategic plan to become one of the world's top five logistics players. CEVA is now more than 110,000 employees worldwide, spread over 1,300 sites and more than 170 countries.
We continue to strengthen our service offering by unifying all activities under a single brand: CEVA Logistics. GEFCO’s business, mostly in contract logistics and ground transportation, is being integrated into CEVA’s existing operations. CEVA plans to finish integration activities and replace the GEFCO brand in 2023.
This new step allows CEVA to offer ever more complete end-to-end solutions, extend their reach to new territories and increase the range of our value-added services.
CEVA Logistics offers a full range of global logistics and supply chain services, including contract logistics, air, ocean, ground and finished vehicle transport.
Our teams, customers and partners remain at the heart of our ambition to bring expertise and operational excellence to all our customers.
Our promise of Responsive Logistics requires high levels of industry know-how, so we are growing in both scale and expertise to co-create value with our customers. With our new CEVA colleagues who came from GEFCO, we are able to offer extensive global capabilities to a wide range of industries, including the automotive industry. Backed by the CMA CGM Group, we expect our growth to continue as we target becoming a Top 3 global 3PL.
