Work placements, skills development contracts, VIE opportunities: to become a major, global, efficient and responsible player, each year GEFCO takes on a number of trainees and trains them in its activities. For the Group, taking on trainees is the opportunity to identify its future employees and to give them the chance to start a career in a global-minded, high-growth group.
Privileged links with young talents
To attract young talents and develop its brand image as an employee, GEFCO maintains special relationships with many higher education establishments in most of its countries. GEFCO’s aim is to promote the company to anyone wanting a career in logistics and transport, particularly:
- students having followed a general programme with a specialisation in logistics (management schools, engineering schools, universities, etc.),
- students having following specialised courses in logistics chain management and international transport.
These partnerships take the form of talks and presentations in these establishments, or they involve students in the Group's strategic thinking.
