To keep abreast of changing market conditions, and adapt to its own growth, the group constantly assists teams in developing their skills. This investment in training represents, on average, 4% of the payroll costs each year.
To meet these challenges, GEFCO trains its employees in its new service offerings and in all the skills necessary for its development:
In order to capitalise more effectively on the knowledge and know-how of the company, GEFCO has audited the key skills it needs to develop and has set up GEFCO Campus, the group’s internal university, for developing the skills of its managers.
Promoting a common managerial culture is the objective of the corporate training programme: ’The GEFCO Manager’. The programme involves all employees with a managerial role or leading cross-level responsibilities. Since its launch in 2003, it has benefited over 3,000 employees in 17 countries. The themes tackled include participative management, networking and knowledge management. This programme evolves constantly and continually develops new modules to follow the group’s strategic guidelines.
