Welcoming young talent: work placements and VIE assignments
Embarking on a work placement or VIE* assignment with GEFCO means joining a group that is growing fast. You will work alongside our operational teams while learning about our lines of business.
In France or abroad, work placements, intercalated year, sandwich or work & training courses, and VIE assignments are important ways for us to identify our future employees.
During 2007, 100 students at MBA level undertook a work placement with us and 10 others went on a VIE assignment in a country where GEFCO operates.
GEFCO and higher education: opportunities
In most countries where the group operates, GEFCO establishes close relations with several higher education institutions. Our ambition is to promote the opportunities offered by GEFCO to all students wishing to embark on a career in logistics and transport.
Our priority target is higher courses of MBA level in international trade, management or engineering with a specialisation in transport and logistics.
